The DEX • decompression & extensionTM inversion system provides all of the benefits of inversion while holding the user in the 90/90 position, which is the optimum position for decompression. From this position, the user is in a body position relevant to gravity that maximizes muscle performance during back extensions while helping to prevent hyperextension.
The DEX is similar to the Orthopod which is no longer in production. The Orthopod was a 90/90 inversion system. The DEX and the DEX II are a much better design than the Orthopod. Easier and more comfortible to use.
The DEX style of hanging which is also know as 90/90 is an excellent form of inversion. However, for many people a Teeter Hang Ups Inversion Table may be a choice worth considering. For one reason with an inversion table you have a full range of angles to choose from, starting with horizontal and going all the way to vertical.
